Welcome to SMULA – we're building the map of the future for families with children
Hello and a warm welcome to SMULA's very first blog post!
It feels fantastic to finally share our journey with you. For some time now we've been planning, designing and developing SMULA – a service that will make everyday life easier for families with children when life happens outside the home.
As parents we know how important it is to quickly find a changing table, a baby changing room or a child-friendly place when you're on the go. That's why we're building SMULA – a living map where families help families.
An exciting day for SMULA
As I write this I'm in Helsingborg at a meeting about SMULA's future.
We are having several interesting conversations with organizations and actors who share our vision of making everyday life easier for families. Today's meeting is an important step on that journey and could hopefully lead to an exciting collaboration going forward.
Although nothing is decided yet, it's fantastic to see the growing interest in SMULA. It gives us energy and confirms that the need for a service like this truly exists.
We're building something together
SMULA is about much more than just an app.
We want to create a community where parents can help each other by sharing places, photos, tips and experiences. Each new place added makes the map better for the next family that needs help.
It's that sense of community that keeps us motivated to continue developing SMULA.
The team behind SMULA
Behind the project is an engaged team with experience in product development, design, communications, technology and security.
What unites us is a strong desire to create something that makes a real difference for families in their everyday lives.
Right now the atmosphere in the team is fantastic. Everyone is committed, full of ideas and incredibly excited about what's ahead. We see great opportunities ahead and are convinced that SMULA can become a valuable tool for families across Sverige.
This is only the beginning
Over the coming months we will continue to develop the app, expand the map with more places and work closely with our users to make SMULA even better.
On this blog we will share news, updates, family life tips and stories from behind the scenes.
Our ambition is not just to build an app – we want to build Sveriges most helpful community for families with children.
